Bengaluru extraordinary court awards bail to Rahul Gandhi in BJP maligning case


Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], June 7 An exceptional court in Bengaluru conceded bail to Congress pioneer Rahul Gandhi on Friday regarding the criticism case documented by the Karnataka BJP unit.

The bail has been conceded on the guarantee of Congress pioneer DK Suresh.

The court has presented the matter on July 30 for the following hearing.

The BJP in the objection had affirmed that the notices in nearby papers and 'bogus crusading' by Congress in front of the 2023 state gathering decisions harmed BJP's picture.

The argument was enrolled against Karnataka Pradesh Congress Advisory group (KPCC), Boss Pastor Siddaramaiah, Agent CM DK Shivakumar, and Congress pioneer Rahul Gandhi.

Prior, the court conceded bail to Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar who showed up before it on June 1.

Shivakumar called the criticism case recorded by the Karnataka BJP unit a 'counterfeit case'.

"BJP has recorded a misleading, fake body of evidence against me, CM Siddaramaiah, and Rahul Gandhi, and request have been given," he told.
