Barbados [West Indies], June 7 Scotland all-rounder Michael Leask is sure about their possibilities fixing a spot in the Very 8 after they stood triumphant over Namibia in the continuous T20 World Cup.
In a game where force swung like a pendulum, Scotland kept calm, fixed a 5-wicket win and moved to the highest point of the Gathering B table with three places.
After the game, Leask conceded that he wasn't astonished to see Scotland at the highest point of the table and feels they can go the entire way through the underlying stage notwithstanding any semblance of Britain and Australia highlighting in the gathering.
"We have an amazing crew. It's nothing unexpected to us [that we top the table]. It very well may be a shock to some," he said in the post-match public interview.
In their most memorable round of the competition, Scotland looked very much set to go past their neighbors. The match in the long run moved washed away because of downpour yet they figured out how to put 90/0 on the board in 10 overs.
"Britain will presumably say it was a shock to them a day or two ago that we're 90 off 10 overs. It doesn't amaze me. This group has incredible profundity. We've played together for various years, various us. We have some new blood so it doesn't actually shock us that we're here. We have two additional tremendous games and for what reason might we at any point top the gathering toward the finish of it then, at that point?" he added.
To keep up with their charge at the highest point of the table, Scotland should dominate their impending match against Oman. Leask knew about the danger that Oman conveys and terminated an admonition that they could show their actual potential against Scotland.
"Those two games could put us lower part of the table. There's as yet 80 overs of cricket to play there's still a ton of different groups to do a great deal of different things too. We have Oman on Sunday which is a gigantic installation for ourselves and afterward we go once more," he said.
"George [Munsey] and Michael [Jones] appeared top that they have the expertise and capacity to confront the best on the planet [against England]. What's more, most of us didn't get that open door on the day to show how great we are. I won't stay here and say Australia won't be a troublesome game. I won't stay here and say Oman won't be a troublesome game. Since I know how extreme the partner game is, Oman is yet to fire, it very well may be against us," he added.
Scotland will confront Oman at the Sir Vivian Richards Arena on Sunday (neighborhood time).
