"Such tricks can never again save him": Jairam Ramesh takes on PM Modi over migration of Gandhi, Ambedkar, Shivaji sculptures in Parliament premises


New Delhi [India], June 7 Congress pioneer Jairam Ramesh has condemned State head Narendra Modi over the evacuation of sculptures of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr BR Ambedkar, and Chhatrapati Shivaji among others from their unique spot inside the Paliament premises.

He claimed that the Lok Sabha Secretariat 'had' to give a 'counterfeit and made clarification' for the shift.

"Such tricks can never again save him and his temperamental Government from falling," Ramesh said in a post on X.

Recently at 2:30PM, I had featured how the Modi system was moving the sculptures of Chhatrapati Maharaj, Mahatma Gandhi, and Dr. Ambedkar away from noticeable spots they presently possess before Parliament House.

Bringing up that no conversations were held with any ideological group on the shift, the Congress chief expressed, "Shook by photos of these movements that were likewise put out, before the end of last night, well after 8 PM, the Lok Sabha Secretariat had to give an entirely fake and obviously produced clarification for the shift. The Congress chief 'uncovered' the 'genuine purpose for' the movements asserting that these sculptures were spots where for the beyond 10 years Resistance groups - including the TDP and JDU - would organize tranquil and popularity based fights the Modi Government.

"Obviously the approaching ... PM needs no spot close to where Parliament meets where fights, even in a Sacred way, against him and his Govt can occur," he said.

Prior in the day, the Socialist Faction of India (CPI) Rajya Sabha MP Binoy Viswam wrote to Top state leader Narendra Modi in regards to the evacuation of sculptures with "no clearness" on their movement.

"These sculptures are not simple metal, blocks and cement but rather the exemplification of our country's battle for freedom, uniformity and unyielding soul of our kin in reshaping our fate in the wake of grabbing independence from frontier grips," Viswam composed.

The CPI MP from Kerala further said that the old Parliament Building, presently called Samvidhan Sadan, was a living demonstration of "fundamental minutes" in our set of experiences.

The CPI MP asked Head of the state Modi not to mess with comprehensive history any further and to save spots of unmistakable quality for public symbols like Mahatma Gandhi, Dr Ambedkar and Chhatrapati Shivaji.

The Lok Sabha Secretariat has given a proclamation in such manner and said that the movement of sculptures has been finished for the comfort of guests. The Secretariat said that this multitude of sculptures are being introduced in Prerana Sthal in the Parliament House Complex itself and the activity has been authorized by Lok Sabha Speaker.

"This Prerana Sthal is being created so that the guests staying with the Parliament complex could undoubtedly see the sculptures of these extraordinary pioneers and take motivation from their lives and reasoning," an assertion gave by the Lok Sabha secretariat read.
